DAY 01 : INDIA – REYKJAVIK & NORTHERN HIGHLIGHTS
Arrival & Sightseeing in Reykjavík
On arrival at Keflavik Airport, you will be welcomed by a driver and transferred to your accommodation in Reykjavík. After settling in, take the opportunity to explore the vibrant city centre at you own pace. The main downtown street, Laugavegur, offers a variety of shops, galleries, restaurants, coffee houses and bars to suit all tastes-all within an easy walk. Later in the evening, if weather conditions allow, you will be taken for a tour in search of the magnificent northern lights, also known as aurora borealis.*

DAY 02: WATERFALLS & VOLCANOES OF THE SOUTH
This morning you and your fellow travellers will be picked up by your guide. The first leg of our journey is along the south coast, with a stop at the fairy tale-like Seljalandsfoss waterfall-the only of its kind in Iceland where you can walk behind the cascade on a footpath. Then our focus shifts to geology, first with a visit to the Volcano Visitor Centre at the Þorvaldseyri farm, where you can learn about the infamous 2010 Eyjafjallajökull eruption and its impact on the local residents.

DAY 03: SKAFTAFELL & THE GLACIER LAGOON
This is a day to have your camera ready! Today’s drive takes us to some of Iceland’s most photogenic attractions, starting with a visit to the beautiful Skaftafell area of Vatnajökull National Park, named for Iceland’s largest glacier.
After lunch, our journey continues to the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, famous for its floating icebergs in shades of milky white and bright blue. On a clear day, you may even get a good view to
Breiðamerkurjökull glacier behind the lake.

DAY 04: BLACK SAND BEACHES & MOUNTAIN VIEWS
Today we will focus our attention on the volcanic black sand beaches near the village of Vík í Mýrdal. One of the highlights here is the 120 metre-high promontory of Dyrhólaey with its spectacular rock arch, bird cliffs and amazing views. You can also get some great photos with the unique Reynisdrangar basalt columns rising out of the ocean.
Further along we will visit the magnificent 60 metre free-falling Skógafoss waterfall. Nearby at the Skógar folk museum, you have some time to browse the replica turf farm and the many interesting fishing and farming artefacts on display inside. From there, the journey takes us past the beautiful Eyjafjöll mountain range towards our evening destination.

DAY 05: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE & RETURN TO REYKJAVIK
On the way back to the capital city today, our journey takes us around the “Golden Circle”, a popular route containing some of the best-known natural phenomena in Iceland. Highlights include the UNESCO-listed Þingvellir National Park, the hot springs at the Geysir geothermal area and the powerful Gullfoss waterfall. We will also pay a short visit to a geothermally-heated greenhouse at the Friðheimar tomato farm.
Back in Reykjavik, enjoy the rest of the evening as you wish after being dropped off at your hotel. Overnight in Reykjavik.

DAY 06: DEPART Today, you will be picked up from the hotel for your airport transfer by coach bus about three hours before your flight. If you’re flying in the afternoon, you have the option of visiting the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa to relax in the warm mineral waters before continuing onwards to the airport.
