After checking out proceed to Madaba (world’s oldest maps and the sight of Israeli camp before entering into the Promised Land) visit the Church at Madaba and the Mosaic Factory.
Visit to Rabbat-Amman where David captured the city and cut the men into pieces. View the Roman Theatre and King of Jordan’s Palace. Enroute we will have panoramic view of the Amman City. Proceed to Mount Nebo where the Lord took Moses and showed him the Promised Land at a distance – The trip south of Amman along the 5.000 years old King’s Highway is one of the most memorable journeys in the Holy Land, passing through a string doff ancient sites of Jordan, the memorial of Moses, and the presumed site of the prophet’s death and burial place. From a platform in front of the church one can enjoy a breathtaking view across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Dinner and overnight at Hotel in Amman.
DAY 02 : AMMAN – JORDAN RIVER – CAPERNAUM – NAZARETH
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Seikh Hussein Border. Cross border & we proceed to the Baptismal Site near the Jordan River. Drive to Mt Tabor (the Transfiguration site), to see the Church, then we proceed to Galilee and visit the Chapel on the Mt of Beatitudes, The Church of the Multiplication and the Church of St Peters Primacy. We visit Capernaum and see the hour of St Peters Mother-in-law and later for a ride in a replica of a Galilean fishing boat of that time on the Sea of Galilee where Jesus calmed the storm and walked on the water. Return to Hotel, Dinner & Overnight at Hotel in Tiberias.
DAY 03 : TIBERIAS – ST. PETER’S HOUSE – SYNAGOGUE CHURCH – MARY’S WELL – NAZARETH
Breakfast at hotel. We make a brief halt at St. Peter’s house, the Church of Primacy of Peter and the place where Jesus bestowed St. Peter with his authority. This is believed to be the place where Jesus dined with his disciples. The flat rock known as Mensa Christ of Chris’s table commemorates this event. We then proceed to Nazareth, the boyhood town of Jesus and home of Mary and Joseph – visit the Church of Annunciation, The Synagogue Church and Mary’s Well. Return to Hotel, Dinner & Overnight at Hotel in Tiberias.
DAY 04 : CANA – MEGIDDO – HAIFA – TEL AVIV – JAFFA
Breakfast at hotel. We proceed to Cana of Galilee to visit the Wedding Church and we proceed to a place called Megiddo to see the fort from inside and also the “Armefeddon”. Then we proceed to Haifa, visit the Cave of Elijah and the Church of Stella Maris, and visit Baha’i Shrine and Hanging Gardens on Mount Carmel. We drive to the Roman City of Caesarea to see the Amphitheater, The Palace built by King Herod and also the Cave of Apostle Paul where he was imprisoned for 2 years by King Herod. Later see the planned city of Tel Aviv on the Mediterranean and then drive to Jaffa where we visit St. Peter’s Church. Proceed to Bethlehem, Dinner & Overnight Hotel in Bethlehem.(Breakfast, Dinner)
DAY 05 : BETHLEHEM – EMMAUS – ELAH VALLEY – HEBRON – QUMRAN CAVES – DEAD SEA – SALT PILLAR OF LOTS WIFE – JERUSALEM
Breakfast at hotel. We proceed to Bethlehem to visit the Church of Nativity and The Shepherds Field, visit Innocent Children Tombs, visit St Catherine Church and the shrine of Mother Mary, Milk Grotto Church – later we drive to Emmaus where we can see the remains of the Byzantine Church built on the House of Cleopas, Valley of Elah, the place of David and Goliath War. Later we drive to Hebron to visit the Tombs of Patriarchs, Plains of Mamre, Mamre Oak tree where Abraham met Angels. Visit Abraham Tent’s place where Abraham, Jacob and Joseph lived view Qarantal via Jericho the traditional Mount of Temptation and The Sycamore Tree. Here we take the state of the art cable car linking Tel Jericho to the Mount of Temptation in less than five minutes we reach the station. The cable is 1330 meters long from the base station to the top station in the mountain. It is also the place where Jesus stopped on this way to Jerusalem, on the Eve of the Passover and where Jesus cured the blind man during his stay at Zachaeus house, proceed to Ein Kareem located in the hills next to a little spring. This is the city of Judah and birthplace of John the Baptist, son of Elizabeth & Zechariah and the Church of Visitation and also Mary’s Spring. We proceed to see the Qumran Caves where the scrolls of Isaiah were found, enjoy the float on the Dead Sea (the lowest spot on the earth) from here we proceed to visit the remains of the City of Sodom and Salt Pillar of Lot’s Wife,. Shopping if time permits at Jerusalem and return to Hotel. Dinner & Overnight Hotel in Bethlehem.
DAY 06 : BETHANY – MT OF OLIVES – GOLGOTHA – OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM – WAILING WALL – BETHLEHEM
Breakfast at hotel. We drive to Bethany the Town of Mary, Martha and Lazarus to visit the Tomb of Lazarus later we visit Mt of Olives, The Church of Ascension and The Church of the Pater Noster followed by The Sanctuary of Dominus Flevit where Jesus wept over the eminent destruction of Jerusalem. We enter into the Garden of Gethsemane, and the Church of All Nations. Then we proceed to Mt Zion to visit the Upper Room, The Tomb of King David, The Dormition Abbey and The Church of St Peter in Galliantu and also walk on the Holy Stairs. Then we visit Bait Hesda where Jesus healed the crippled man. We enter through the Lions Gate, St Stephen’s Gate and we will take the Via Dolorosa route – traditionally accepted as the last route trodden by Jesus. Follow the 14 Stations of the Cross to Golgotha. You will see the Pilate’s Judgments Hall, the Chapel of the Flagellation. The last 5 Stations of the Cross are inside the Church of The Holy Sepulcher visible from the distance, also The Tomb widely believed to be a part of the stone that covered Jesus Tomb. Last Supper Room, The Tomb of King David and then we proceed to the Jewish Quarter to the Wailing Wall (Western Wall), which is the holiest place for the Jewish religion. This evening enjoy the Sound and Light show at Temple David. The tower’s ancient walls come alive during the show that takes you on an inspiring open-air tour of Jerusalem’s history. DAY 07 : BETHLEHEM – TABA BORDER ST CATHERINE MONASTERY – BURNING BUSH – RED SEA – CAIRO
Breakfast at hotel. We check-out and drive along the Jordan Valley where we stop and proceed to Taba Border finish all emigration formalities to enter Egypt. We further drive and arrive Sinai. Visit St. Catherine Monastery. Set beneath the mountain where Moses is said to have received the Ten Commandments, Saint Catherine Monastery has been one of the world’s great centers of religious pilgrimage for over fifteen centuries. Within it’s imposing walls rests a citadel like no other, incredibly rich in important religious and historical structures. Among its treasures is a library of ancient manuscripts and icons second only to the Vatican’s itself, and a 6th century Church reputed to lie directly on the side of the Burning Bush. Quite simply, the Monastery is a defining feature of the Holy Land. Dinner and Overnight Hotel in Sinai.
DAY 08 : SINAI – CAIRO – EGYPT MUSEUM – OLD CHURCHES OF CAIRO – NILE CRUISE
After breakfast proceeds to Cairo along the coast of the Red Sea- we visit Moses Springs on the way. Arrive Cairo, and then upon arrival we visit the Old Churches of Cairo. Proceed to visit The Egyptian Museum situated at Tahrir square in Cairo. It was built during the reign of Khedive Abbass Helmi II in 1897 and opened on November 15, 1902 It has 107 halls. At the ground floor there are the huge statues. The upper floor houses small statues, jewels, Tutankhamen treasures and the mummies .(ROYAL MUMMIES museum IS AN OPTIONAL 100 Egyptian) – Evening free time for shopping at Khan Al Khalili Bazaar if time permits, Later we proceed for a Dinner at Memphis Cruise on the River Nile. Overnight at Hotel in Cairo.
DAY 9 – GIZA PYRAMIDS – EGYPT MUSEUM – OLD CHURCHES OF CAIRO
After breakfast check-out and proceed on a visit to The Great Pyramid of Giza is composed of over 2 ½ million blocks of limestone, which weigh from 2 to 70 tons each. Its base covers over 13 acres and its It is 454 feet high which is equivalent to a modern 48-story building. The joints between adjacent blocks fit together with optical precision and less than a fiftieth of an inch separates the blocks. The Great Pyramid is thought to have been erected around 2600 BC during the reign of Khufu (Cheops). Next to the Great Pyramid stand 2 additional large pyramids. The slightly smaller one is attributed to Cheop’s son and successor, Kephren. The other, still smaller, is attributed to Kephren’s successor, the grandson of Cheops, Mykerionos. To the south-east of the Great Pyramid lies the Sphinx. Later we proceed to Cairo International Airport for your flight back to India. Dinner will be provided onboard and enjoy the inflight services. Arrive at Mumbai Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport. Assemble at the airport for a prayer thanking the lord for giving a nice opportunity to visit Gods Own Country – The Holy Land.
