Finally, explore the modern-day city, visiting one of Phnom Penh`s two great markets, the Central Market, located in a distinctive domed Art Deco building or the sprawling Russian Market. Just outside Phnom Penh, in a peaceful rural setting, the killing fields of Choeung Ek provide a stark reminder of the atrocities under the Pol Pot Regime. After breakfast at hotel, proceed to visit Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. The crowning jewel of Khmer architecture is the national symbol and the highlight of any visit to Cambodia. Ascend through a series of galleries and courtyard before reaching the central sanctuary, which offers beautiful views back over the causeway and across the surrounding countryside. Enroute stop to enjoy the intricate stone carvings that adorn nearly every surface, with some 1,700 Apsaras or celestial dancers, sculpted into the walls. Later continue to the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the leper Kings, the ruined Baphoun, Royal Enclosure and Phimeanakas before continuing to the mysterious Bayon Temple. End the day with a stunning view of the sunset over the Cambodian countryside from the upper terraces of an ancient Angkorian temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.


After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to the airport to board your flight to Saigon. Arrive Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), proceed for a panoramic tour of Saigon. A vibrant metropolis, Saigon teems with energy, activity and motion. Begin with a tour of the Reunification Palace, War Angkor Wat, Siem Reap Remnants Museum, which comprehensively documents the travails of the long Vietnam- American War, Emperor Of Jade Pagoda, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Pass by the classic European-style landmarks such as the ornate City Hall (Hotel De Ville), the old Opera House (both may only be viewed from the outside). End the tour at the central Ben Thanh Market, where vendors display a vast array of goods and handicrafts, appealing to every taste. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Proceed for an excursion from Saigon to Tay Ninh, the birthplace of the unique Cao Dai religion, a fusion of Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Christianity, Islam and native Vietnamese spiritual beliefs. Afterwards, continue to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Never discovered by American forces, these tunnels were an important Vietcong base during the American War. You can walk through the area and learn about the day-to-day life of the VC, see the cleverly disguised entrances and elaborate booby-traps and even venture inside the tunnels, some of which have been modified to accommodate tourists. Return to Saigon in the late afternoon. Overnight stay at the hotel.


Breakfast at the hotel. Today take a boat trip on Mekong River to Vam Xep canal where local handicrafts and sweets from coconut are produced. Enjoy fresh seasonal fruits, a performance of traditional songs and observe the local life. Take a short ride on a horse carriage to a typical local house to taste some homemade honey-tea. Proceed by small sampan boats through the small canals and observe daily life along the riverbanks, stopping for a leisurely stroll. Later return to Saigon. Overnight stay at the hotel.


After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport to board your flight to Hanoi. On arrival, you will be met and taken for a sightseeing tour of Hanoi. Head to Hoan Kiem Lake, located in heart of Hanoi, which contains an islet with the tiny Tortoise Pagoda. Take a walking tour and explore the Old Quarter. This fascinating network of narrow alleys and shop houses is also known as The 36 Streets, each street being named after the merchandise traditionally sold there, ranging from fabrics to crafts to medicines to tombstones. Afterwards, visit the Museum of Ethnology, which brings to life the astonishing ethnic diversity in Vietnam, with art and artifacts. Check into your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.


Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for a guide tour of Hanoi. Visit the Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex, One Pillar Pagoda which stands near the vast Ho Chi Minh Memorial Complex home to Ho Chi Minh`s final resting place, continue to the Presidential Palace, stroll through the park to Ho Chi Minh Stilt House, a simple two-room dwelling where Ho Chi Minh lived from 1948 until his final days. Later take an excursion to Thay and Tay Phuong Pagodas. The earliest construction here dates from the 8th century. Overnight stay at the hotel.
