BEST TIME TO VISIT :

The cyclone season is from Late January to March and best avoided unless herpetology is your interest.

April and May leaves the countryside green and lush from the rains, followed by July – August which are the coldest months in Madagascar. This period is usually when the animals are not very active, though it is the best season for whale watching in the Bay of Antongil.
